JULIEN BOUCLIER
VIOLON
Julien Bouclier started playing the violin in the CPMA with Josiane Brachet and from 1997 followed at the same time the study of Veda Reynolds (Curtis of Philadelphia) for 5 years.
Since 2000, he followed the study of Marie-Annick Nicolas.
Having taken away prizes in the competition of the Young Musician and in the Nerini competition, he entered the class of DEM of Priscille Reynaud to the Academy of Bourg en Bresse and will obtain it next year.
He also followed the study of Jean Ter Merguerian, Dominique Lonca (CNSM Lyon, Quatuor Debussy), and masterclass of Gyula Stuller.
In 2007, he entered unanimous of the jury the Superior Music Academy of Geneva (HEM) where he obtains a Master of concert performer in the class of M.A. Nicolas and a Certificat of composition Contrepoint and Fuga.
He participated in academies organized by the Orchestra of Swiss Romande, the Chamber Orchestra of Geneva and Contrechamps.
In 2008 and 2009, he is taken as trainee to the Symphony Orchestra of Biel.
He play for the concerts-hommage of the French compositers André Ameller and Olivier Messiaen.
He was awarded in multiple international competitions of Chamber music in France, Italy and the UK.
Julien is now dedicating is energy to his duet with his brother, accordionist Dimitri Bouclier with whom he has toured all over Europe (Festival Radio France Montpellier, Lille Piano Festival, Festival des Lumières, Festival International d'Arcachon, Festival Jeunes Interprètes, Cully Classique, Festival International de Kragujevac, Festival Cziffra, etc.). They also participate in numerous radio shows for France Musique.
He obtained a Master in Music Pedagogy at the HEM of Geneva and he is violin teacher to the Bourg en Bresse Conservatory.
